I have decided to move my blog to the main site as well as change to a new theme. There will be quite a bit of work going on with this over the next couple of weeks. Please be patient while I get this all sorted out and running smoothly. Please contact me if you have any problems with the site and I will work to correct them as best as I can.

This week I will be working on moving over my Blog Roll and all my External Links to the new site. I hope to have that done in the next day or two.

The URL for the new site is: http://www.TheTrouseredApe.com - please update your links to me from your sites if you have them. This will be the last post from this current site. I will leave this blog up for the next several weeks to ensure everyone has had ample time to adjust. I have already rolled over all the content and comments to the new site and new postings will begin tomorrow.

Thanks and I hope you like the new site theme.

The intention was to title this post Choosing My Religion Jesus, but the strike-thru feature does not work for post titles, so boo to Word Press for that.

People have more flavors of Jesus than Baskin-Robbins has ice cream. From the “person on the street” to Deepak Chopra’s The Third Jesus (Yahoo article), how are people supposed to keep this straight and arrive at the Truth? Was he just a good guy or great moral teacher and nothing more? Was he merely a state of consciousness? Did he really exist? Was he a lunatic, or a liar? Or was he the Son of God as he claimed?

I’m an HD adopter. And I was an early adopter to the format war that existed between HD DVD and Blu-ray. This week, Toshiba officially pulled the plug on the life-support that kept the war going. With HD’s demise, consumers can finally settle on a single format and I’m thrilled that it ended up being Blu-ray. Not because I owned it already, but because I truly believe that it was the better of the two formats.

Below is a video that pays last respects to HD DVD. You fought a good fight, too bad you sucked.

A church group went to Rochester College and asked a bunch of people around there the question:

When you hear ‘Christian’ or ‘Christianity’ what kind of feelings does that evoke? What does it make you think?”

Below is the YouTube video that was a result of the impromptu interviews. But how about you? What do you feel and/or think?

At the beginning of the year I posted a short blurb regarding baptism. We had an all too brief discussion about it at our small group this past Sunday evening. It also came up in discussion with some friends Sunday morning before our corporate worship time after we broke from singing practice. I just came across a ton of video’s on YouTube and thought that I will begin sharing some of these from my blog.
